Where figures come from

Figures are compiled from publicly reported estimates and producer announcements. We record the figure, the date it refers to and when it was recorded. We do not reproduce any third party's text, images or verdicts, and we do not scrape ticketing platforms.

How a figure is settled

Where more than one public estimate exists for the same film and day, the published figure is the median of them. Figures are estimates, not audited receipts.

Week, month and language tables

Week 1 is days 1 to 7 of release, week 2 is days 8 to 14, and so on. Month tables group by calendar month of the figure's date. Per-language columns use the language split published for that day; where no split exists the cell is blank and the film counts once in the total.

Industry totals

Industry pages sum the daily India net of every film tracked on this site for the days inside that month. They cover tracked films, not every release in India, and say so on each page.

Revisions

Early estimates get revised. We never overwrite: each published value is kept with its fetch time. A day marked r2 or r3 had two or three published values. The displayed value is the most recent.

What we do not publish

No verdict labels. No star ratings. No reviews. No images.

Independent compilation

Every figure, date and revision is recorded in the operator's own ledger at the time of compilation. The published figures, milestones, medians, roll-ups and comparisons are the operator's own computation and appear on no other site in this form.
